Around The Web

Happy Friday hope everyone has a great weekend!

Here are some links I have been loving this week.

:: Kierrin, from the blog A Wednesday Child. wrote this great post about her experience cloth diapering her one year old daughter. If you want to learn more about cloth diapering her post is a great place to start!
:: I love this article in the Huffington Post about a sit in protest in Bristol, England to support Mothers who breastfeed. Its always so inspiring to me to hear stories like this about woman coming together to support one another!
:: This video about natural sunscreen from YouTube Mom CandidMommy is incredibly informative and helpful.
:: I'm constantly checking EWG's Skin Deep Cosmetics Database to find the safest products for me and my family to use.
:: Ashley, from the blog The Stork and the Beanstalk wrote a beautiful and touching post on her blog that you should definitely check out!
:: I found this illustration below on my Facebook page that in my opinion speaks a lot of truth for breastfeeding Moms.

    1. Your welcome :)! It's going great so far, I'm really happy we made the switch! We haven't really ran into to many problems so far so I am a little nervous for when/if we do that I wont have clue on how to fix it. Have you ran into any major problems?

  2. every time i breastfeed in public i'm ready to "make a stand" if i have to because i pretty much breastfeed all over town. not that we go anywhere interesting, but Target, the park, whatever. no one's ever said a thing to me! maybe they can see that i'm ready to go all apeshit on them if they do, but not even a side eye. is that your experience too or have people really been so rude? i'm so curious! i do live in hippyville, usa, so maybe that's why they're all so whatever about it? ps. thanks for that link to the safe products, i've been meaning to look into sunscreens for Otto now that he's officially been diagnosed with psoriasis (ugh). hope you're having a great weekend! xo

    1. Lindsay that's awesome that no one has said anything to you about breastfeeding, and hopefully no one does! It honestly just blows my mind that there are even people out there that have such a huge problem with it.

I have been lucky and have never had anyone say anything to me about it but I do also use a cover or blanket and wasn't always very brave about nursing in public. Now I will nurse anywhere though!
