On Saturday the three of us ventured out into the city to spend the afternoon at the children's museum. I couldn't believe how much there was to do and see. We spent most of our time splashing and playing in the water room, catching fish and going down the big slide in the tree-house, running wild and free and exploring butterflies in the big backyard, doing a little grocery shopping in kids town, and inspecting all the little treasures in Michael's museum. We had an amazing time together as a family and Mike and I loved watching Chloe play and explore, I cant wait to do this again with her in the near future!
Now, THAT looks like a ton of fun!
ReplyDeleteIt was! We had so much fun there!
DeleteOh wow! Looks like so much fun. This is why I wish we lived closer to a big city. We have taken D to the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia a couple times and it's amazing!
ReplyDeleteIt took us about 40 minutes to get there, so not too far but there is a children's museum that's a lot closer to us that I think we want to check out next! I've heard of the please touch museum, it looks like it's a lot of fun there!
DeleteThat looks like a blast, we live so close to the Melbourne Museum and it's free for us to visit but we don't go there enough i think. I LOVE that yellow sweater, it's totally sweet xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Ruby, as soon as I saw that sweater in the store I fell in love with and had to have it for Chloe! That's wonderful that you guys live so close to the museum and that it's free! It was pretty expensive for us to take Chloe to the children's museum whith having to pay for parking and admission.
DeleteThis place looks like so much fun. My brother and his family lives a few blocks from Navy Pier, if we ever make it out there this looks like a must see. I never realized how curly Chloe's hair is. It's so cute.
ReplyDeleteIt was! If you guys ever come to visit Chicago you definitely need to plan a day there, plus Navy Pier is really pretty, especially in the spring / summer!
